INS Acoustic Lagging is wrapped around the outside of a pipe or duct to reduce noise that transmits through the walls or skin of that pipe or duct. For ultimate acoustic lagging performance INS Damping Sheet Type DS is highly recommended to be installed prior to INS Acoustic lagging.
Acoustic Duct Lagging differs in the fact that it is used inside of ductwork to reduce any unwanted noise that escapes from any vents or openings in the duct.
